Capstone Welcomes Librarians Back to Texas Library Association Annual Conference

April 18, 2022

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – April 18, 2022 – Capstone, an innovative learning company merging children’s content with easy-to-use edtech tools for K-5 classrooms, libraries, and home, is excited to return in person to the Texas Library Association (TLA) conference (April 25-28) to connect face-to-face with librarians.

“We are excited to see so many of our librarian friends at TLA. There’s really no substitute for the valuable, in-person interactions and networking that happens when you are together in the same space. We are looking forward to renewing relationships and making new ones as we share one of our largest digital product launches, PebbleGo Create, and the opportunities it presents to drive student engagement by reading and creating in a rich learning experience,” said Scott Sustacek, Capstone President.

Capstone will be sharing their newly launched digital tool PebbleGo Create during the Exhibitor’s Showcase on Tuesday, April 26. The active learning tool and digital workspace expands the educational experience for K-5 students by empowering them to demonstrate their understanding of content in PebbleGo, the award-winning content hub for cross-curricular instruction and research. With PebbleGo Create students can demonstrate what they learn in PebbleGo, expressing their creativity through a variety of media-rich features including tools for drawing, recording a video, and thousands of stickers, animations, and templates.

Also happening during the showcase, Capstone will reveal the winner of the 2022 Going Places Award. The award recognizes a librarian media specialist whose creative use of PebbleGo helps fuel students’ curiosity and serves as an inspiration for other educators. The Going Places Award winner receives a one-year subscription to PebbleGo Create for their entire school.
