Capstone Rewards Introduces Inspiring Ways for Members to Redeem Their Points
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – April 18, 2018 – Capstone, a leading publisher of children’s books and digital products and services, announces exciting additions to its Capstone Rewards program. Educators who are members of the loyalty program earn points for every Capstone purchase that can be redeemed for Capstone products and services. Capstone Rewards members now have inspiring new ways to use their points by donating them to a nonprofit organization or transferring their points to another program member.
Rewards members can donate their points to Bernie’s Book Bank, GreaterGood, and Read Indeed. The nonprofits were chosen for their literacy outreach which aligns with Capstone’s global vision of improving the world through literacy. Bernie’s Book Bank distributes new and gently used children’s books to at-risk children in the Chicago area. Greater Good distributes grants to a network of worthy programs and charity partners around the world. Read Indeed began with one girl's wish to share her love of reading with kids in need. The organization collects and distributes new and gently used books to children and teens.
“Capstone is proud to support the work of these outstanding organizations who are helping promote literacy to communities in need. We’re excited to spotlight each of these charities and share with our Capstone Rewards members who can also help support the important work by donating their points,” said Matt Keller, Capstone Chief Marketing Officer.
Capstone Rewards members now also have the option of gifting their points to another Rewards member. Members can easily transfer their points for immediate redemption. Other new features to the program include an easier-to-use interface for account management and the ability for members to redeem points in any increment.
Launched in 2009, Capstone Rewards has more than 20K members. Throughout the yearmembers have the opportunity to earn additional points by receiving bonuses on certain purchases, attending exclusive events, completing surveys, providing feedback on Capstone titles, and referring friends to the program.
