Cantata Learning combines text with music, featuring unique picture books with familiar nursery rhymes and original sing alongs to engage students and help them have fun as they learn about the world around them. Encouraging children to read, listen, and sing helps them practice grammar, expand their vocabulary, and retain ideas. Leveraging repetition, rhythm, and rhyme, Cantata introduces key content areas for students and supports literacy development through phonological and print awareness, letter knowledge, narrative skills, vocabulary, and print motivation.
"Capstone is thrilled to partner with Cantata Learning to bring their books and music to our customers, offering a new approach to supporting the many learning styles of their students. Research shows that pairing text and music can increase students’ engagement, help them retain key facts, and activate multiple learning receptors. And Cantata’s approach is both delightful and fun!" said David Samuelson, Capstone EVP and General Manager.
