“We’re energized by the exciting possibilities that digital reading has to offer students and have seen the real difference Capstone Interactive titles can make. Our generous licensing agreement makes them accessible to every student in a school, the free iPad app makes offline reading possible, and most importantly, our interactive titles feature great Capstone content that kids love and educators trust. This grant is an opportunity to seed those benefits in as many schools as possible,” said David Samuelson, General Manager of Capstone’s Library division.
With more than 3,200 interactive eBooks, Capstone offers readers the largest selection of interactive eBooks over all other school library publishers. Pricing is a one-time fee which includes all students in a school with unlimited circulation and simultaneous usage by multiple students. Students can access the interactive eBooks directly from their library or at home, 24/7.
Capstone Interactive eBooks feature text highlighting, full-color illustrations, and read-to-me audio recorded by professional voiceover artists to model fluency and pronunciation. The interactive eBooks are compatible with any PC, Mac, iPad®, Android tablets, interactive white board, or other devices with high-speed internet access and speakers or headphones.
