Capstone Launches 25th Anniversary "We Buy, You Fly" Contest
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Jan. 18, 2016 – Capstone, a leading publisher of children’s books and digital products and services, is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2016 by launching a national contest for educators and booksellers to win the opportunity to attend key industry conferences. Capstone’s “We Buy, You Fly” contest invites librarians, teachers, administrators, and booksellers to share their favorite story about Capstone for the chance to win a trip in 2017 to Book Expo America (BEA), American Library Association Annual Conference (ALA), International Literacy Association (ILA), or the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE).
Entrants are encouraged to share how Capstone’s books or digital products have touched their lives or the lives of children close to them. Stories can be in the form of videos, pictures, or text entries. Capstone will award four First Place winners, each receiving a trip to one of the four national conferences. The prize package includes the winners’ airfare, hotel accommodations, conference registration fee, and a $200 stipend.
Entries are accepted now through Oct. 1, 2016, at www.mycapstone.com/anniversarycontest. Contest winners will be announced no later than Oct. 15, 2016. Visit the contest page for complete rules and terms.
“When we were thinking about how we wanted to celebrate our 25th Anniversary, we knew that we needed to do something exciting and truly prized by our customers. Giving the gift of a professional learning experience has so many rewards for the recipient and also their community. It affords them an invaluable opportunity to network with their peers and build relationships, gain insight on best practices and new trends, and become energized and inspired with new ideas. We’re looking forward to meeting in person each of our winners at these conferences in 2017!,” said Matt Keller, Capstone Chief Marketing Officer.
