Capstone Expands Interactive eBook Collection with 700 New Titles

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Feb. 2, 2015 – Capstone, a leading publisher of children’s books and digital products and services, announces the addition of more than 700 titles to the Capstone Interactive eBooks collection. This expands the publisher’s digital offerings to over 4,000 titles, the largest selection of interactive eBooks with read-aloud audio over all other school library publishers.

Among the newly added interactive eBooks are titles from Capstone’s licensing collaborations with Warner Bros. Consumer Products and DC Entertainment, Sports Illustrated Kids, and the Smithsonian Institution. Also new to the collection are titles featuring best-selling Capstone characters, such as Katie Woo, Jake Maddox, Max Axiom, Zeke Meeks, and Benji Franklin, as well as select picture and chapter books, bilingual books, graphic novels, and nonfiction favorites, including the STAR-reviewed series Captured History and Captured World History.

Pricing is a one-time fee which includes all students in a school with unlimited circulation and simultaneous usage by multiple students. Students can access the interactive eBooks directly from their library or at home, 24/7.

Capstone Interactive eBooks feature text highlighting, full-color illustrations, and read-to-me audio recorded by professional voiceover artists to model fluency and pronunciation. The interactive eBooks are compatible with any PC, Mac, iPad®, Android tablets, interactive white board, or other devices with high-speed internet access and speakers or headphones.
