Geared toward mid-elementary students, this series is comprised of seven unique books, each with a focus on a simple measurement concept, what it means, and how it relates to life. All books explore the tools and units we use to measure while showing meaningful and relevant examples. Each title contains vivid photographs, charts, and diagrams with captions, explanations, and examples. Questions are posed throughout the books to entice young learners to "stop and think" or continue reading for more information. Each informative book includes a "Fun Facts" section along with a "Find Out More" page where additional books and websites are recommended. A "Measurement Exploration Activity" helps readers to put what they have learned into practice by completing a simple experiment.
