Library Media Connection - Stacy Rosenthal

This series would be a great asset to any elementary school. The subject matter covered can enhance a unit on any level of government and can help explain a variety of governments in other countries. Students will learn about a different, but related government topic every two pages. The font is large and easy to read. The photos, diagrams, charts, maps, and illustrations supplement the text well, but would also provide excellent visual aids to teachers trying to explain this material to students. Each volume includes a "Find Out More" section that includes related references. The series is current and up to date, with a picture of President Obama on the Cover on National Government. Glossary.
