Arlington Independent School District - Joanna Wasden

This book on Louis Pasteur is in a series of biographies called "Great Scientists" published by Heinemann-Raintree. I really like the lay-out of the book which includes photographs, diagrams, paintings, and maps that are captioned in yellow. I found it to be interesting reading to introduce the life and contributions of the scientist known as one of the "Fathers of Modern Medicine." I would recommend this series to an elementary library collection. –Joanna Wasden Arlington Independent School District 11/19/2009
