What’s your job?

I’m a writer. I write books and stories for young readers and adults and executive messaging pieces for business leaders.

Where do you live?

I grew up in Minneapolis, MN, and recently moved to East Tennessee, where my wife grew up.

Do you have kids?

I have a 23-year-old stepson, named Sam, who is in the US Navy.

What do you do for fun?

I love watching movies, reading, hiking and camping. I also write and direct an independent film once or twice a year.

Where did you go to college?

I had my freshman year at the University of New Mexico and finished my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
