Reviews

School Library Journal - Amelia Jenkins, Juneau Public Library, AK

"Bunny loves to chew anything–trees, a guitar, vegetables. When eating vegetables, “Bunny chews them all together! Big, big yum! Burp.” In the second book, Duck is learning to use his potty chair. “The first time, Duck misses. Quack! The second time, Duck misses. Quack!!” He eventually gets it right. Children may enjoy the gross-out humor and colorful pages, but there is nothing to set these books apart from the many other titles that fill this niche. Barbro Lindgren’s Sam’s Potty (HarperCollins, 1986) and Sara Anderson’s Vegetables (Handprint, 2007) cover these subjects well." - School Library Journal

"Pony eats a lot every day, just like his dad. So Pony needs to brush his teeth everyday. He does everything just like his dad until his teeth are and nice and clean. These Hello Genius books help to "teach basic activities that every young child needs to know." Sturdy board book format makes it easy for young hands to hold. (Infant-Preschool) Bunny likes to chomp and chew things, and he also likes to eat his lunch. Bunny loves his vegetables like carrots and and celery, but sometimes Bunny eats a little too much and a little too fast! These Hello Genius books help to "teach basic activities that every young child needs to know." Sturdy board book format makes it easy for young hands to hold. (Infant-Preschool) It's bath time, but Pig would rather play in the mud than be clean. Little Pig tries to get away, but finally gets in the tub and is scrubbed nice and clean. But oh no, Little Pig is back hiding in the mud! These Hello Genius books help to "teach basic activities that every young child needs to know." Sturdy board book format makes it easy for young hands to hold. (Infant-Preschool) http://www.kidsbookshelf.com/index.php?option=com_bookreview&Itemid=75" - KidsBookShelf
