Student Educational Internships at Capstone

Coughlan Companies strongly believes that there is a need in the community to partner with local universities to provide college students practical hands-on experience in the publishing world. The Company also believes internships are an important tool in recruiting, developing and retaining innovative people in publishing and an important part of assisting the Company in meeting the needs of today while preparing the workforce of the future.

The Coughlan Companies Educational Internship Program provides college students with the opportunity to gain practical hands-on training and to apply traditional academic classroom learning to actual work experience within the publishing industry while receiving college credit. The information and skills learned through the program shall educate participants through various aspects of the publishing industry which will provide each participant a meaningful experience and deep understanding of their selected area of concentration within the publishing process.

The Educational Internship Program is an unpaid, for credit position which offers various concentrations, each of which focuses on a different aspect of the publishing industry and each of which may accept educational internships each school semester:

• Editorial
• Design
• Production
• Marketing
